Asus Maximus IV Gene-Z: Z68 motherboard for gamers

It is already the 4th Generation of Maximus motherboard from the known series of Asus Republic of Gamers, and like every generation before you try here again, the ultimate offer on the main board market. That this is so strongly competitive, we can make it clear repeatedly that had brands like Abit or DFI adopt from the fact. But so very new, this product is not.

Already in January 2011 introduced the Asus Maximus Extreme IV, the μATX version Maximus IV genes one has unfortunately omitted. The former is based on the P67 chipset is now available in the Revision 3 with flawless chipset. But what now?
On the one hand, that it is now again a Gene Product and apart from the fact that this is now on the Z68 chipset.

For looks, they have reverted to the spread in the family red-black design, in general, it is similar to the Maximus III genes, of course, very strong. The two PCIe x16 slots, it supports both AMD CrossFireX and Nvidia SLI, but only with 2x 8 lanes. Also new is that one of the LucidLogix Virtu mitliefert software, which changes as needed between the graphics card (dGPU) and integrated graphics (iGPU).

  Otherwise, one offers 2x SATA 6 Gb / s, 2x USB 3.0 on the rear and 2x USB 3.0 for a front panel is a good 'innovation package. Otherwise, there are several other features that could be useful for one or the other: power and reset button on the board, diagnostic LEDs and single voltage measurement points.

  One possible date for an official launch would be the Computex in 2 weeks, however, they can already be pre-ordered in some stores at a price of 150 €. For the larger Maximus Extreme IV-Z with much better equipment, such as an additional NF200 chip and 8x USB 3.0 are currently still about 310 € due
