ZOTAC: Faster ZBOXen presented

Small computers are in, because they consume very little space and can be placed right next to the monitor. However, many of the low-cost Mini-PCs have a weakness: the installed hardware is so slow in most cases that the calculator can be used only as a surfing or Office station.

The Chinese manufacturer has long been low-cost Mini-PCs in the program, but with the presented today ZBOXen ID88 and ID89 ZOTAC one missed its mini-computers richtigenTurbo.

While the ZBOX ID88 with a dual-core Intel Core i3 3220T (2 x 2.8 GHz) is equipped, the ZBOX ID89 with the Intel Core i5 3470T (2 x 2.9 GHz) offers even more power. Thanks to the Intel Turbo Boost 2.0 technology, the ID89 also - can depending on requirements of the operating system or the applications - clocked at up to 3.6 GHz. Both new series feature the integrated Intel HD2500 GPU with hardware-accelerated video decoding, Blu-ray 3D support, and dual-display support.

Offers the new ZOTAC ZBOX ID88 as well as ID89 of the ZBOX is series as usual in two models: PLUS variants are already with a 500 GB 2 large, 5-inch SATA hard drive and a 4 GB large DDR3 memory module fitted. The barebones, however, have a 2.5 -inch SATA 6.0 GB / s hard drives/SSD slot and two 204-pin DDR3 SO-DIMM memory slots. The choice of operating system is left to each the personal wishes of the user.
