ZBOX Zotac Mini-PC with VIA Nano X2 Dual-Core Processor

The BFG was ZBOX of it first as a variant based on Intel Atom, which was followed by the new version with an AMD Fusion APU. We have recently introduced two variations in test reports. Now, unexpectedly followed a new variation on the advanced VIA Nano X2 Dual-Core processor. It's usually very difficult to get equipment that includes Via designed hardware. The company had retired quite strong and is now finally maybe in an offensive.

The exhibited at Computex 2011 ZBOX is present as the previous 18.8 x 18.8 cm high, but only 12 x 12 x 4cm. This is probably the time being the smallest model in the series ZBOX. The user can choose between the nano X2 Dual-Core with 1.2 and 1.6 GHz have beat. The CPU is manufactured in 40 nm process and supports the usual 64-bit architectures, the virtualization technology and VIA PadLock. VIA continues to reveal that the system was designed so that you, other processors such as the VIA Nano, VIA C7, VIA C7-M and VIA Eden can use as well. The election will probably leave Zotac.

About the memory is unfortunately nothing to be exact. One can still see the product picture for more details. In front of a card reader is installed, which is designed for different types of SD cards. Furthermore, you can tell that this ZBOX supports WLAN and probably comes with a remote control. The connectors on the back are not shown in the front but it has a connection for headphones and microphone installed.

The price and launch are yet to be announced. Usually, the devices are available but directly after Computex. We will post an update when further details.
