Samsung expands Galaxy S model
Samsung has expanded its smartphone model Galaxy S family. The new Galaxy Advance has a compact 4-inch display, a 1 gigahertz dual-core processor and a 5 megapixel camera on the back. Android 2.3 is also included.
Like the two other galaxy S models, the new version also uses a 4-inch monitor. To use a color-strong super-AMOLED screen comes with 480 x 800 pixels. In the S a 1 gigahertz Advance provides fast dual-core processor for quite brisk and Internet access to apps. The processor has access to 768 MB of RAM. Its internal memory can hold eight gigabytes using a memory card up to an additional 32 gigabytes added as well.
The Galaxy Advance comes with Android 2.3.6, the operating system is upgraded with the Samsung TouchWiz interface. An upgrade to Android 4.0 is unlikely.
5.0 megapixel camera with autofocus and flash is installed on the back of the Galaxy Advance. You can record video in HD quality (1280 x 720 pixels). On the front page in addition a 1.3 megapixel camera is used.
