Samsung sell 10 million Galaxy S smartphones in 2010
The PhoneArena reports that Samsung has sold 10 million units of its popular Galaxy S smartphone since its release seven months ago. The Galaxy S is Samsung flagship mobile phone with a large 4-inch Super AMOLED display and is powered by Google's Android operating system. While this is nowhere near the sales records set by Apples iPhone 4 which sold 14.1 million phones in its first three months (we do not have figures for 2010). But Samsung's Galaxy S is not the only high-end Android in the market, and Samsung does sell many other lower end phones. While Samsung would love to see its flagship outsell the iPhone 4, its real target is to take over Nokia's spot and be the top seller of mobile phones in the world. This is something Samsung plans to do in the next three years.
