Samsung Wave 3 - Why doesn't Samsung build their Androids this way

The new Samsung Wave 3 is now available in the Philippines. With a 4-inch Super AMOLED screen housed in a brushed aluminum case back with a case that slides up to reveal the battery. It is a well built piece of hardware in stark contract to the plastic Samsung uses in its Android devices.

We are not going to bother you with the specifications of this device. If for some reason you love Bada, this is the best Bada phone you can buy, but really you should get an Android, iPhone, Windows Phone or even BlackBerry instead. I do not see any advantage to going with Bada. At a price of Php17,750 you can get a Samsung Galaxy W, LG Optimus Black or HTC Radar all of which will provide you with similar features but which run on Android, or in the case of the Radar the Windows Phone OS.

The only thing interesting about this phone is that it makes us wonder why the Galaxy S II and Galaxy Nexus could not be built this way. So look at it, admire it, and buy something else.
